Mano Percussion Claves
Spanish in origin, claves are two thick pieces of dowel traditionally made of a hardwood . The non-dominant hand creates a resonating chamber by holding one clave between the fingertips and thumb. The other clave is held in the dominant hand like a drumstick. When struck together, the sound is bright & clear.
